Terms and conditions

Products
Prices and specifications for products proposed in job quotations are estimates only. The actual hardware/software supplied may differ in specification and/or price due to availability from suppliers. Any hardware items supplied will be warranted for 12 months, unless specifically stated, from the date of invoice and must be used appropriately and remain unmodified or resold.

Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) 2006 directive
Under this legislation, all retailers and distributors of electrical goods are required to provide a free 'take-back' service to non business customers who purchase a new electrical product. We will therefore take responsibility for the costs of collection, treatment and recovery of any equipment being replaced on a like-for-like basis.

Warranty of work
Work carried out is warranted for 30 days from the date of invoice. Should the Customer experience any problems directly relating to any of the work carried out on the job, remedial work will be carried out free-of-charge.
Exclusions: Hardware faults; Existing problems undisclosed to ByteSupport; Malware re-infection from off-PC sources; Damage to OS, programs and data resulting from Customer actions.

Software
It may be necessary to install software onto the Customer's PC in order to carry out work. Only appropriate and previously tested software will be used. In most cases this software will be uninstalled on completion of the job. A list of any software loaded can be made available on request.

Payment Terms
Payment will be due on completion of the job and can be cash, guaranteed cheque or via a PayPal account. If a cheque is not cleared by the bank, you will be liable for an additional administrative charge of £20.

Our Expectations
Equipment supplied by the Customer, unless specifically stated, should be in good working order. The Customer is obliged to ensure that the working conditions provided on their premises or home are safe. We expect to deal with a responsible adult and we reserve the right to refuse work.
